Michael is currently the Chief Executive of the G-Force Group of Companies. Prior to that time he served in various management roles with the Australian Industry Group and The Australian Chamber of Manufactures. He is a member of a number of Boards, mainly pertaining to Employment, Education, Training and Defence.

Michael is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is a former Campaign Director of United Way Geelong.
