There are many financial and non-financial ways you can help people less fortunate than yourself within the community in which you work and live.

Make a donation

All donations of $2 and over are tax deductible when you donate to United Way.

Make a regular donation

You can have your donation debited from your bank account or credit card on a regular basis. So if you change jobs or your address, your precious donation to United Way won’t stop.

Make an in-kind donation

You can make an in-kind donation of new or quality goods such as food, clothing and computers which is then distributed to United Way’s Community Partners.

Workplace Giving

Thousands of Geelong employees are supporting United Way through Workplace Giving raising $810,000 last year. Workplace Giving is simply authorising your donation to be automatically deducted from your pay. Contact us to find out if your workplace offers Workplace Giving and start donating today. No matter how large or small, every dollar counts.

Become a Loaned Executive

Help raise money for your local community and improve your public speaking skills at the same time by becoming a United Way Loaned Executive. Training and materials are provided so you can raise awareness about the need for help in the Geelong Region.

Demonstrate your leadership skills to your work colleagues, friends and local Geelong people by inspiring them to donate to help those in need in the Geelong community.

Volunteer

Is it time you have to give? Make a non-financial contribution to your local community by volunteering for United Way. Share your skills, meet new people and have fun undertaking local volunteer projects.
Our volunteering activities take place on a range of different days and different times from a couple of hours through to full days. We have volunteering activities to suit any schedule.

Community Fundraising
