Profile: Daleene Wood

Daleene Wood was born in Geelong and educated at Belmont High School and Deakin University. After completing a Bachelor of Commerce she commenced work at Alcoa World Alumina in 1991 as a Graduate Accountant. A member of the Australian Society of Certified Practising Accountants (CPA) for 15 years, Daleene has worked in a number of Accounting, Production and Purchasing roles with Alcoa. In 2004 Daleene was appointed to the position of Accounting and Controllership Manager for the Victorian Operations, based at the Pt Henry Smelter.

Married with one daughter, Daleene is an avid traveller who loves reading, music, photography and the arts. As a long term resident of Geelong, Daleene has a passion for the development of the region and supporting the local community.
