Become A Community Partner

To be eligible for funding, an organisation must provide services in the Greater Geelong Region in health, welfare, education or support. The organisation need not be a Geelong agency but must provide the services in the region. United Way does not fund the organisation. It does however support programs, provide equipment and sometimes supports staff salaries and may help pay for some running expenses.

Each agency applying for funds receives details of the eligibility criteria and must both initially and in any subsequent year provide precise details as to where the money was spent. A copy of audited accounts is required and considerable detail on the overall functioning of the organisation. In subsequent years a report on how the previous year's money was spent must be produced.

Please note:

The next General Funding round will be open to approved Community Partner organisations in October 2010.

Capital and Special Purpose Funding Round is open from 10/6/10 and closes on 7/7/10.

For general inquiries about becoming a Community Partner, please email our Community Services Manager, Lesley Lightfoot or phone 5229 4364 (Extension 7).
